That statement holds true as Rae continuously captivates her audience with her insightful songwriting and wildly dynamic vocal range. The songstress can perform multiple genres of music ranging from classical to bluegrass, but finds her artistry most at home within the country music scene.

In 2015, Rae released her debut album I Need Me which included her first single, “Shadows Dance Tonight,” to hit No.55 on Nashville’s Music Row Chart and received strong airplay across the United States and Canada. Her presence on the chart positioned Rae as an opening act for notables like The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, American Idol’s David Cook, Maddie and Tae, and more.

Rae delivered her sophomore album, Come Find Me, in March of 2017. Inspired by personal growth and vulnerability, more than half of the fifteen tracks are either written or co-written by Rae. The first single, “But I Want You,” co-written by Jaida Dreyer, Fred Wilhelm, and Jay Knowles, includes a prominent kick-drum and lead banjo riff paired with a sassy lead vocal. The official music video debuted on CMT.

Come Find Me also features “I Need Me,” a track that has been heard previously for years and performed in numerous variations. “I Need Me” found longtime friend and producer, Shawn Gough, who helped transform the current single into the climatic ballad it is, which reached #26 on the Music Row Charts.

After a few years of rebuilding, Rae has released her project This Time, a sassy five song Americana/Country EP that captures soulful vocals and funky blues instrumentals. Producer, Shawn Gough, nailed the production and finally captured the true sound that Rae has been seeking since moving to Nashville. This Time consists of four upbeat songs that each display their own personal uniqueness and a heartfelt ballad “Why Didn’t I Know”, which is in support of mental health awareness and suicide prevention.

Originally from Mount Vernon, Ky., Rae has been eager to share her talent since her church performances as a child. At 12 years of age, Rae began to craft her own songs while strumming a six-string. In high school, she performed as a member of the Kentucky All-State choir before earning a degree in Music Education at University of the Cumberlands. Prior to moving to Nashville, Rae spent three years in Vancouver, BC, Canada. She took to live performance and further enhancement of her songwriting before returning to the states in 2012 to fully pursue a solo career as a country music artist. She has since toured nationally and internationally as a solo performer and with her band.
